Before you start
Duskfade is a single-player 3D action platformer from Weird Beluga, published by Fireshine Games. You play Zirian, traveling with the mechanical companion Cuckoo to save his sister after a Clock Tower traps the land in endless night.
If you already finished the demo, do not expect that save to continue. The official pre-launch FAQ says the full game starts from the beginning. Treat the release build as a fresh file even if the opening rooms look familiar.
This page is onboarding, not a region-by-region route. The walkthrough owns story checkpoints. Abilities owns unlock and gate questions.
Opening movement
Official copy lists jump, dash, grapple, and glide alongside combat. Store pages do not print a keyboard or controller map, so this guide will not invent buttons. Learn the prompts the tutorial actually shows on your device.
Community 100% recordings spend the first half hour in Tick Town and the forest approach before the first named Timeflux Channeler chapter. Use that only as a pacing hint: the opening is traversal and combat training, not a collectible sweep.
First challenges
Early deaths usually come from sprinting past a patrol or treating a later movement tool as if you already have it. Grab pickups that sit on the path. Leave rooftop and rail coins for the collectibles pass unless they are free.
The Steam achievement list already tells you some opening mistakes have names: breaking jars, confronting a crowned Cloudie, and later smashing a Temporal Anchor in Tick Town. Those are tracked on the achievements page. This getting-started page only flags that the hub town has more than one “walk past it and forget” object.

FAQ
Is Duskfade single-player?
Yes. Steam and Xbox store pages both list it as a single-player action platformer.
Should I 100% the first area before leaving?
Community collectible guides say later movement opens earlier rooms. Play the story first, then return.
Does the demo save carry over?
No. The developer FAQ says the full game starts from the beginning.
