On 10 August 2026, the official Steam FAQ “Duskfade - Pre-launch FAQs!” answered yes to Steam Deck verification and said handheld play is supported. This wiki did not run the game on a Deck. The answer below is that attributed statement, checked again against the store metadata snapshot from 7 September 2026.
Steam’s compatibility block for app 2542020 records built-in controller configuration, matching button glyphs, readable interface text, and a default-configuration performance check, plus a warning token about external controllers for the primary player. Those are platform assessment labels, not our benchmarks.
Demo saves
The same FAQ says demo progress does not carry into the full game. Start a new file on Deck or desktop. This page does not verify whether a demo CTA is still on the storefront today.
What performance is established
Nothing on this page is a measured frame time, TDP, or battery figure. Windows minimum requirements on Steam (Windows 10 64-bit, i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 1500X, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti / RX 580, DirectX 12, 20 GB) describe a PC floor. They are not Deck settings.
If a later official post publishes handheld numbers, replace this section with that source and date. Until then, do not treat community footage as a Deck certification.
